Music Pick: Derek Webb’s “The Ringing Bell”

I have often said that Derek Webb is the only Christian musician worth listening to.  His music is excellent; his lyrics are original, honest, challenging and deep; and he’s an artistic innovator (I can’t say any of these things for most of the CCM I’ve heard.)

He just released a new record entitled “The Ringing Bell” along with an excellent graphic novel.  If you have students with discriminating musical tastes, or you’re looking for some non-worship music to enrich yourself, you owe it to yourself to buy his records (all of his previous efforts are excellent).
